Introduction to 3D Printing Class

When: Wednesday, January 16th, 2019
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Where: Madison Public Library (142 Plaza Blvd, Madison, AL 35758)

This class will be a continuation of our Introduction to 3D Printing series. We’ll be demonstrating the basics of 3D Printing; including the anatomy of a printer, where to find 3D models, how to slice 3D models into layers that the 3D printer can understand, and starting a 3D print. We’ll also quickly discuss other 3D printing technologies, and suggest some 3D printers for beginners in various price ranges.

      Great question! The class is really for beginners of all ages. However, if we see that most of the attendees are of a certain age, we may cater more to that age group. In the future, we may host more advanced classes specifically geared towards those with more experience–those tend to be more adults. Thanks for the comment!
